Before You Begin This Exam
Read this page fully, then tick the acknowledgement box on the exam page — the Start button only becomes active once you do.
1. Before you click Start
You'll be asked for your Name (always required), and possibly your Roll No., Batch/Division, Mobile Number, and Email ID — whichever your instructor has chosen to require for this exam. Fields marked with a red * must be filled in; anything without one is optional, though it still needs to look like a real entry if you do fill it in (e.g. a valid email address).
Before starting, you'll also see how many questions the exam has and how much time you'll be given.
2. Once you click Start
The timer begins immediately and cannot be paused — not by you, and not automatically if you close the tab. Treat the moment you click Start as the moment your exam has begun.
3. Answering questions
- Questions appear 5 at a time. Use Previous and Next to move between pages — you can go back and change earlier answers at any point before you submit.
- Multiple choice and True/False questions are answered by choosing from a dropdown.
- Short answer questions are typed in a text box (up to 1000 characters). These are read and judged by your instructor afterward — they are not scored automatically, and don't count toward the score shown to your instructor immediately.
4. Watch the timer
The timer is visible throughout the exam and turns red when time is running low. Use this as your cue to finish up and submit the questions you've completed.
5. Submitting
You can only submit once. Review your answers on each page before moving on, and especially before clicking Submit on the final page — there is no way to go back and edit anything after you've submitted.
6. Precautions
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection before you start.
- Don't close or refresh the tab during the exam. Answers are only saved to your instructor when you actually submit — if your browser closes or crashes before that, that progress is lost and cannot be recovered.
- If something goes wrong mid-exam, contact your instructor directly rather than trying to reopen the link — reopening does not resume a previous attempt.
